Frequently Asked Questions

A house concert is exactly what it sounds like...a private concert at a private residence!

We will provide non-alcoholic beverages and light snacks. We ask our guests to bring their choice in alcoholic beverages  and we will have glasses, openers, ice etc available. Some folks bring a dessert or snack to share, but it is not  required. 

We will have someone directing you to available parking, usually a short walk from our house.  Driveway space is reserved for those with special needs.

Moonrise Music house concerts are open to all ages. However since this will be an intimate listening experience we ask that you respect our other audience members and only bring kids that are capable of quietly enjoying the music.

Our events are BYOB, so bring whatever beverages and snacks you would like to enjoy during the show.  For outdoor shows, you can bring your own lawn chairs and a small cooler. 

We are animal lovers, but we think it is best if you please leave your pets at home...we don't even invite our own dogs to the shows!

The entrance to our house has a few steps, but once inside is all on one level. Outdoor events are in the backyard reached via a stone path. If you have mobility issues, please contact us to discuss how we can accommodate your needs.

We are all acoustic and have performers from a variety of genres including folk, americana, rockabilly, blues, bluegrass...you name it!

Our house concert series is a great opportunity to build your following, or fill in a date while traveling down 95 to Florida.  Please contact us with your booking information.
